Limited trust During last days, the National Bank of Romania and together with it all our banking system focused the attention of officials and of public opinion. This year's queue of banking "accidents" reached the warning level. Bancorex, "The Bee" Bank, Bankcoop unattendingly showed structural weaknesses and their once well-known reputation of safe institutions was automatically shadowed by doubts and dark assumptions. The building up of a general degree of misscontempt and worry towards the whole banking system's behaviour follows naturally. A conflict belonging to UN Security Council's Jurisdiction The war in Yugoslavia cannot be ended untill the causes are studied and learnt  In order to put the correct diagnosis of this war, among other factors, we should at least take into account the timetable of this tragedy's ignition.  George Apostoiu  Balkan War-Olympics NATO strikes against Yugoslavia are closing their end. Beyond the details that will be negotiated for future agreements, it seems that the main dataset of this problem will remain unchanged, accordingly to the principles streamlined by the G8 Summit.  Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic ordered a general withdrawal of all serb military and police forces of Kosovo and intends to diminish the armed forces at the peace-time level. Into the serb region of Kosovo a temporary administration under international civilian authority will be installed while a peacekeeping force will be deployed into the same region, this force substantially being NATO driven. In the long run, Kosovo will have a large autonomy within the Yugoslav Federation .  Radu Dobre
